"Registry fights community apathy" by Anne Randall Stewart, Spokesperson for The Sun City Formula Registry

Subject: Rebuttal to critic Robert Wheeler's letter against SCFR.  Wheeler in uninformed.  The Registry faces apathy which is a "soothing state of mind.  Dangerous, but soothing, like dope."  Addresses charge that the Registry is trying to change Sun City by giving examples of the sweeping changes this board has done to remove membership power.  The Registry merely wants to restore that power to the members.

"Registry rejects recall petition 'as to form and timing'" by Anne Randall Stewart, Spokesperson for The Sun City Formula Registry

Subject: Gives the history of events regarding the petition drive.  Also, explains the reasons for rejecting the recall petition [Petition P-03] and the intent to proceed on Oct. 1st when the homeowners return.  The RCSC board has written bylaws and board policies that have removed the ability for the Members to act which is contrary to the RCSC Articles of Incorporation.  They guarantee that in a dispute between the Members and the board over the bylaws, etc., "the action of the Members shall prevail."

"Petitions clarified" by Anne Randall Stewart, Spokesperson for The Sun City Formula Registry
Subject: RCSC Gene Westmeier's letter confused the Members by referring to a recall of six board members.  There is no recall petition being circulated.  There are two RCSC-approved petitions (P-01 and P-02) which will bring to a membership vote the removal of the board's power to recall directors and to write bylaws/board policies without member ratification, respectively.

"Petitions seek member ratification of articles" by Anne Randall Stewart, Spokesperson for The Sun City Formula Registry
Subject: Sign Petition P-01 and P-02 daily Noon to 2pm at "The Dog Park" on Thunderbird Rd at Del Webb (LaRonde Center Westside); also get trained to circulate them, too!  Or, pick them up at the UPS Send Me Store on Del Webb at Talisman (LaRonde Center Eastside near Tivoli Gardens Restaurant) and you can learn to do it yourself.  Send completed signed and notarized Petition P-01 and P-02 to Anne Randall Stewart, 10526 W Tropicana Cir, Sun City, AZ  85351.  Petitions will bring to a membership vote amendments to the RCSC Articles of Incorporation that will require member ratification for the board to recall board members (Petition P-01) or write bylaws, etc. (Petition P-02).  Letter tells why.

"RCSC board actions deserve recall" by Anne Randall Stewart, Spokesperson for The Sun City Formula Registry
Subject: Urges members to come to the 12/17/09 RCSC board meeting at 9 a.m., Sundial Auditorium, to PROTEST the motions that remove membership meetings run by the members, hinders petition circulation by reducing time limit to gather 4,000 signatures, and removes the inalienable constitutional rights to defend oneself that Sun Citians have had for 50 years.  Announces intent of the SCFR to recall six directors if these motions pass.

Subject: Call to action to attend Thursday, Dec. 17, 9 am RCSC board meeting to oppose three motions: removing membership power at membership meetings, shortening the time to collect 4000 signatures on petitions, and disarming CCW Senior Heroes who have kept the crime rate low for 50 years!  PROTEST!  All members must attend this VERY IMPORTANT MEETING at Sundial auditorium at 14801 N. 103rd Ave.

"Group wants language change in state law" by Anne Randall Stewart, Spokesperson for The Sun City Formula Registry
Subject: Call to action to attend Thursday, Nov. 19, 9am RCSC quarterly membership meeting where Noel Kasper will make motions to circulate petitions that will bring to a vote to amend the RCSC articles of incorporation.  If brought to a ballot vote and approved, the changes would remove the board's power to recall directors or write bylaws and board policies without a membership vote   There is an explanation about the need to change the wording in the Planned Communities Act to conform with the "common area" tax exemption by asking District 9 representatives Rick Murphy and Debbie Lesko to sponsor a bill to get this done.  All members must attend this VERY IMPORTANT MEETING at Sundial auditorium at 14801 N. 103rd Ave.  VOTE TO ALLOW THE PETITIONS!!!

Subject: Rebuttal to RCSC VP Gene Westmeier's 6/18/09 opinion claiming the managers aren't to blame, the board is.  Calls for the members to support Ann Ullman at the 6/25/09 board meeting at Sundial.  She is the "watchdog of frivolous spending" and was kicked off the board by the board claiming she couldn't perform her duties.  Yes she can.

"Creek project too costly" by Anne Randall Stewart, Spokesperson for The Sun City Formula Registry
THE SUN CITIES INDEPENDENT, Letters, Page 4A, April 8, 2009
Subject: RCSC board wants gutters on Willowcreek costing $435,000.  Stewart wants Pacific Aquascape to be able to bid on the project to keep Willowcreek Del Webb quality.  She fears they will be shut out by specs calling for a gutter which they don't do.  If they are, Stewart calls for recall of board members and dismissal of employees in support of it.
UPDATE: Pacific Aquascape was shut out of bidding.  On Monday, at the 4/6/09 board meeting, Tom Beckwith delivered a PA bid for $203,000 or $308,000 depending on the length, which was immediately rejected.
So, Willowcreek will get a gutter instead of a water feature and it will be done by Alliance, a first-time contractor, with no identifiers on their trucks at the construction site.

"Reversal moves to regaining members' faith" by Anne Randall Stewart, Spokesperson for The Sun City Formula Registry
Subject: RCSC board's reversal of their proposed decision to close down the delis is a beginning to reversing the loss of members' faith that they are protecting the members.  That faith has been systematically eroded by board members and management not telling the whole truth, coupled with board policies removing member power and oversight.
