Anne Stewart's Opinion Letter regarding the CORRUPT TACTICS used by the RCSC Board of Directors in order to win the vote to change the Articles of Incorporation that will allow board members to run for a second 3-year term was never published by the Independent or The Daily News-Sun.  However, The Daily News-Sun printed the following rebuttals to her unpublished letter:

1) RCSC Board of Directors, December 5, 2003, "RCSC board: Put blame where blame belongs" -- They try to shift the blame to Anne Stewart without naming her!  Our comments are inside.
2) RCSC Employee and Board Secretary Helen Thiel, December 19, 2003, "RCSC bylaw vote was above reproach" -- She tries to rebut Anne Stewart's letter that still hasn't been published in the paper.  Why doesn't the Daily News-Sun print Anne Stewart's letter?  Our comments are inside.

Anne Stewart's Letter to the Editors exposes the
CORRUPT RCSC VOTING TACTICS at the 11/20/03 Membership Meeting where there was a change in the Articles of Incorporation to allow the board directors to run for a second 3-year term.  We believe there should be a lawsuit to force the cancellation of the vote and to require another election.  Please send donations [not tax-deductible] to our Legal Fund.

QUESTION: How does Anne Stewart handle her being labeled a "bitch"?

ANSWER: Anne Stewart was approached by a stranger at a formal board meeting who said, "I hope you're not offended, but when I read this I thought of you."  Then, he handed her a copy of an email that was sent to him.  (Click here for "Bitchology".)  She was not offended.

9/17/03 - "FAQ":

New tab.  Everybody keeps asking, "Why doesn't Anne Stewart run for the board?"  So, we started a "Frequently Asked Questions" Tab.

9/16/03 - "Opinions":

The Independent published our letter re the golf fee increases.  The Daily News-Sun [UPDATE: THEY DID ON 9/23/03] and the Arizona Republic did not.
The letter warned everyone to call and write the board in protest: "DON'T RAISE GOLF FEES WITHOUT
ZAPPELLA DOING HIS COST CUTTING ANALYSIS FIRST!"

"Meetings"
:

The board will vote on the golf increase:

Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003
9am
Sundial Auditorium

There will be a Quarterly Membership Meeting and it would be a good time to protest the board's disregard for the membership in terms of experts' input on the committees (none that we could find on the Golf Committees) and voting (Fairway Project).
     PLEASE COME!

"What Can I Do?"
:

Pass out
flyers!

"The Anne Report"
:

The Anne Report has the address by Anne Randall Stewart against the golf fee increases, against the $30,000 advance for architectural drawing for the Fairway Project, and about trust.  Zappella letter to board delivered to cease and desist spreading the BIG LIE that he is not a qualified golf course superintendent.  Plus, other misinformation spread by the directors.  It's a MUST READ!

9/8/03 - "Correspondence":

Added the newest letter from the board that obstructs the "Action of the Membership".
9-2-03 Norm Dickson Letter does not give us the list of golf committee members we requested.  These people voted unanimously to increase golf fees!  Who are they?  Are they qualified to know if we need increases instead of cost cutting?

9/6/03 - "What Can I Do?":

Added information about the 9-15-03 Director-Member Exchange Meeting which is the last chance to protest the increase in golf fees.

(PROTEST GOLF INCREASE!  Click here for the 9-15-03 Meeting Flyer to protest raising golf fees again without cost cutting by our RCSC member expert volunteer).

8/7/03 - "Anne Report":

August 4, 2003, Director-Member Exchange Meeting!

Highlights

    • Earl Feierabend claims difficulty in finding contractors again so hired someone he used before!
      • Says Sunbowl concrete work on half dome was done wrong!
    • Five people took out Candidate Packages for the Board Elections!
      • Oct 1 deadline!
    • Art Little says Sun City Foundation will meet to set rules on qualification for funds!
      •  Meeting set for the 11th!
      • PLUS OUR SUGGESTIONS!
    • Paul Santoro thinks the RCSC attorney should not represent Sun City and Sun City West, too!
      • He requests a poll of Sun City to see if they want the pipeline!
      • He requests a meeting with the attorney to ask him some questions!
    • Anne Stewart asks to meet with the board's attorney, too!
      • No dice.
      • Then she lays the bomb on 'em: She established a Legal Fund to challenge the board's attorney in the future!
    • President Hirtzel and Secretary Kuchler give fake "advice" to intimidate Stewart from having the Legal Fund!

7/22/03 - "Index":

Establishing Legal Fund to protect membership rights!

Here we explain the Legal Fund and post its activity.  This is a must-read if you want to truly understand the importance of what we are trying to accomplish: Membership control of the RCSC.  Membership control means controlling costs by controlling the board and the management.  There is a conflict of interest.  The board and management want to spend the membership's money without limitation.  The membership wants to protect the membership's money.

7/14/03 - "Correspondence":

Added a new Tab.  We believe these letters from the board support the supposition that "THE RCSC BOARD OBSTRUCTS THE ACTION OF THE MEMBERSHIP":
    1. The RCSC board will not allow the members to recall them.
    2. The RCSC board will not allow the members to raise funds on RCSC property to finance a lawsuit against them for their unlaw acts.
    3. The RCSC board will not allow the members to find out how much it cost to move the spas in the Sundial Project.

Added the
Report on the 6-16-03 Director-Member Exchange Meeting.  It was awesome!  This is what membership involvement is all about!  We averted catastrophe by being "heads up" about the revocation of the golf course restrictive covenants.  We won!

IMPORTANT LETTER--CLICK HERE TO READ!!!  The Board is intending to revoke the successful 30-year-old Del Webb Restrictive Covenants that have kept the golf courses as golf courses by threat of lawsuit by adjoining property owners.  The new one allows the board to change the land use, which opens the door to developers!!!  This is not what Del Webb intended when he gave the golf courses to Sun City.  That's why he provided for automatic 10-year extensions indefinitely, barring disasters.  YOU MUST SHOW UP TO PROTEST AND BRING A FRIEND WITH YOU:
