"The Action of the Members"
Welcome to The Sun City Formula Registry ("SCFR")! You will be sent e-mails that are addressed to "anne@annereport.com"
with a blind copy to the members of SCFR, who are also RCSC Members. Our Registry is anonymous to protect our members
from RCSC Board reprisals. A member becomes known only if he/she makes his/her membership known. As a member, you do not have
to pay anything, you do not have to do anything, you do not have to attend meetings, and you do not have to agree with us
on every issue.
We
hope you will embrace Sun City's founder's philosophy that we've named "The Formula
for Successful Sun Cities" in order to make decisions that will keep Sun City "Our
Retirement Dream Come True". The Formula is 1) affordable housing, 2) create a sense of community
(create a social network or fabric for its residents), and 3) unsurpassed amenities. We've added two other principles to that: "Spend your money where
you will get the most return," and "Don't
be penny-wise and pound-foolish."
Sun City's founder said "people make
the community" and we are volunteering to collect a voting constituency to lobby
the RCSC Board when we see them depart from the tenets. We are organizing into 59 districts with Leaders committed to collect
signatures on petitions to be turned in within 10 days. You are a member, but also an individual working on your own to watch
the Board and affect changes in their decisions when they go astray. On your own, you could attend Board Meetings and Membership
Meetings to witness firsthand the decision-making process and speak out. You could write letters to the papers stating your
opposition either with your name or without. Here is the contact information:
Your Vote is extremely powerful because there are so few people
voting. However, do not "early vote"
or send your absentee ballot to the board office. Vote on Election Day only. If you MUST "early vote", go
to the Board Office and put your absentee ballot into the ballot box personally. We have requested that Maricopa County
supervise our election, which they will do on Election Day only. They do not have the manpower to cover all precincts.

We must watch our Board of Directors to make sure they are doing what they were entrusted to do. This is not a dictatorship;
the RCSC Members control the RCSC. The RCSC was established for the benefit of its Members. When there is a conflict between
the Board and the Members, the "action of the Members shall prevail." [RCSC Article VIII, Paragraph 4]
